US President-elect Donald Trump is considering appointing Richard Grenell, his former intelligence chief, as a special envoy for the Russia-Ukraine war, reports stated. Grenell had also served as Trump's ambassador to Germany. Notably, there is no special envoy dedicated solely to resolving ongoing conflict. Trump had earlier claimed that he could end the war in a single day.
