A US-based organisation named Bangladesh Human Rights Watch (BHRW) has written a letter to UN chief António Guterres urging immediate international intervention in Bangladesh following the recent violence in Gopalganj. A 22-hour curfew was imposed in region after supporters of ousted PM Sheikh Hasina clashed with authorities during a rally by an opposition party, leaving atleast four people dead.
