US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is racing to build migrant tent camps after receiving $45 billion in new funding, The Wall Street Journal reported. ICE aims to expand detention capacity from 40,000 to 1 lakh beds by year-end. It's prioritising tent facilities at military bases, jails, including 5,000-bed site in Texas and others in Colorado, Indiana and New Jersey.
