After JD(U) candidate Anant Singh was arrested for the alleged murder of Jan Suraaj supporter Dularchand Yadav, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar said no incident of violence will be tolerated. "The Election Commission is ready to make sure that the electors can peacefully vote [in the Bihar Assembly elections]," he added. Notably, Anant is fighting polls from Bihar's Mokama.
