India has fully operationalised the Nyoma (Mudh) airfield in Ladakh. It is the highest fighter-capable military airbase at 13,700 feet, located close to the LAC with China. With an investment of over ₹210 crore and a 3-km runway, it enables deployment of fighter jets like the Su-30MKI and Rafale, marking a significant military-aviation milestone for India's northern frontier, reports said.
