Nail clubbing is a change in the appearance and structure of your fingernails or toenails. The nails may feel soft, look red, and form a rounded, bulging shape like an upside-down spoon. They may also wrap around the sides of your fingertips. Clubbing often starts in the thumb and forefinger and is most often associated with heart and lung diseases.
