In 1957, during a Ramleela in Delhi, 14-year-old scout Harish Chandra Mehra saved Pandit Nehru from a sudden tent fire, then climbed a burning pole to stop a collapse. His fearless act made him India's first National Bravery Award winner in 1958. Today, he's still remembered in Chandni Chowk as the boy who saved Nehru.
