Asian Games bronze-medallist hammer thrower Manju Bala has been handed a five-year doping ban by NADA's Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel after testing positive for prohibited drugs in 2024. The ban, effective July 10, 2024, prohibits Bala from all events sanctioned by Athletics Federation of India (AFI). She also loses eligibility for official rankings or national team selection.
