Four mice have been sent by China to Tiangong space station for its first in-orbit mammal study. Selected from more than 300 candidates, the rodents are part of a biological experiment to study how microgravity influences mammalian behaviour, stress levels, and physiological adaptation. The insights are considered vital for preparing humans for prolonged space travel.
