Reacting to US' move to designate The Resistance Front (TRF) as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) and Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT), Congress' Shashi Tharoor said it'll bring Pakistan to heel. Tharoor stated the move will "add pressure" on Pakistan to curb its activities. TRF is a Pakistan-backed proxy of Lashkar-e-Tayyiba (LeT) which claimed responsibility for Pahalgam attack.
