Former Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina accused the current Muhammad Yunus-led administration of "endangering ties with India and empowering extremist forces." She said her return home depends on restoring "participatory democracy", lifting ban on Awami League, and holding free, fair elections in Bangladesh. Hasina added that during her tenure, Delhi and Dhaka shared a "broad and deep" relationship.
