A zonal officer in Nagpur was attacked over an altercation regarding a spare Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) found in his car. Following the end of polling, a mob mistook the EVM for one used in voting and chased him. They pelted stones at his car, vandalised it and also manhandled him, Joint Commissioner of Police Nisar Tamboli stated.
