PPFAS Asset Management CIO Rajeev Thakkar said a ₹1,000 monthly SIP won't make people billionaires like Elon Musk or Mukesh Ambani. "Sorry to be bearer of bad news. Your [investment] will have to be substantially higher if you want to reach there," Thakkar said. He added that a "big portion" of returns from investments depends on investors, not investment managers.
