₹19 lakh fake currency found at Madrasa in MP, Imam held in Maha
Police recovered fake currency worth over ₹19 lakh from a madrasa in Madhya Pradesh's Khandwa district on Sunday, PTI reported, citing officials. The value is expected to be higher. The room from which the fake currency was recovered belonged to an imam, identified as Zuber Ansari, who was arrested in Maharashtra for carrying fake notes worth ₹10 lakh on Friday.
