₹7 cr work done under fake govt order before Maha Assembly polls, probe ordered
An inquiry has been ordered after infrastructure works worth ₹6.94 crore were done in Maharashtra's Ahilyanagar based on a fake Government Resolution (GR) issued days before the 2024 state Assembly elections. An official stated the fraud was discovered when "contractors sought payment of works done," and "it was found that no such GR was ever issued on October 3."
