Anurag Thakur yet again declared ineligible to contest BFI polls
Former Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur has once again been ruled ineligible to contest Boxing Federation of India (BFI) elections. Thakur's nomination violated Article 20 (iii) of the Constitution of BFI as he is not an elected member of Himachal Pradesh Boxing Association (HPBA). It also violated Article 20 (vii) as he is a sitting Member of Parliament.
