Shubhra Gupta of The Indian Express called 'Bloody Ishq' the "worst outing" of Vikram Bhatt. "The director who gave us Ghulam and the Raaz franchises has been on a downward spiral for a while now," she wrote, giving the horror movie half a star out of five. The film stars Vardhaan Puri and Avika Gor, among others in pivotal roles.
