'Harry Potter' fan-fiction 'Alchemised' gets $3 million movie deal
SenLinYu's 'Alchemised', a dark fantasy novel featuring 'Harry Potter' characters Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy, has been acquired by Legendary Entertainment for $3 million. Originally published on Archive Of Our Own (AO3), the book initially started off as fan-fiction, and eventually evolved into a dark fantasy novel set in the world of necromancers, exploring a forbidden love story.
