India's Oscar entry 'Homebound' was recently passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), receiving a U/A certification. A report by The Indian Express stated the film waited nearly three months for CBFC screening. Further, multiple caste references were demanded to be either modified or removed. A unit member described the process as the film being "destroyed in parts".
