'Muslims may have to do jihad,' says SP MP, BJP calls it assault on Constitution
Samajwadi Party MP Mohibbullah Nadvi made a controversial statement in Parliament by saying, "Muslims may have to do jihad...how long will Muslims be suppressed?" He was speaking against the Waqf Act. "Waqf Act [was] given go-ahead by Parliament and SC, but SP will do jihad against it? [This is a] direct assault on the Constitution," said BJP's Shehzad Poonawalla.
