'Spider-Verse' makers to produce new 'Archie' film adaptation
'Spider-Verse' producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are set to make a film adaptation of popular comic series 'Archie'. The director-duo said, "We are longtime fans of Archie, Veronica, Betty and the gang in all of their iterations...We're so excited to bring these beloved characters to the big screen." The 'Archie' series first debuted in 1942.
