Turkey blocks Musk's Grok chatbot for alleged insults to Erdogan
A Turkish court blocked access to AI chatbot Grok, developed by Elon Musk's xAI, after it generated responses that allegedly insulted Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Under Turkish law, insulting the President is considered a criminal offence. The ban follows earlier controversies involving Grok, including the generation of content containing antisemitic tropes and praise for Adolf Hitler.
