'Very old’ mysterious structure found beyond Neptune
Astronomers say they've detected a mysterious, extremely stable structure about 43 AU from the Sun, tucked deep inside the Kuiper Belt just beyond Neptune. This tightly packed cluster of icy objects shows unusually calm, low-eccentricity orbits, hinting that it may be a primordial fragment of the early solar system. Researchers believe this undisturbed region could reveal how solar system formed.
