'Vote chori' term is an insult to Indian democracy: Smriti Irani
BJP leader Smriti Irani said the term 'vote chori (theft)', as used by Opposition leaders, is an insult to Indian democracy. "It's an attack mounted by the Opposition when it has failed to win the trust of voters," she said. Her statement comes as Congress leader Rahul Gandhi alleged vote theft of over 6,000 votes in Karnataka's Aland assembly constituency.
