'Weekend warrior' workouts reduce diabetics' risk of death: Study
A large study has found that ‘weekend warrior’ workouts can lower the risk of death in diabetics. Those completing 150 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous exercise over one or two days had a 21% lower all-cause mortality risk and 33% lower cardiovascular mortality risk, according to the study. Regularly active participants had 17% and 19% lower risks, respectively, the study found.
