1,000-year-old 'Warriors of Clouds' ceremonial heads found in Peru
Archaeologists in Peru's Amazon region have uncovered two rare, intricately carved, 1,000-year-old stone club heads believed to hold ceremonial significance. The finds, along with around 200 ancient structures and a unique zigzag frieze, were made at Ollape site, linked to 'Warriors of the Clouds'. Researchers say the discoveries indicate Ollape was the area's major ceremonial and residential hub.
