10-year-old Indian-origin chess player Bodhana wins UK Blitz title
Indian-origin British chess player Bodhana Sivanandan secured the first prize of £500 at the UK Open Blitz Championships Women's Final on Saturday. "I don't mind who I compete against, I only care about the game," the 10-year-old said after the match. Earlier this year, Bodhana defeated 60-year-old Grandmaster Peter Wells to become the youngest female player to defeat a grandmaster.
