12 river sites across India breach flood warning levels
Water levels at 12 river monitoring stations across India are touching or exceeding the warning level, Central Water Commission said on Friday. However, none of these sites, which include Assam (6), Bihar (1), Madhya Pradesh (1), Uttar Pradesh (3), and West Bengal (1), have reached the danger flood thresholds. Two rivers in Assam are in the 'severe flood' situation category.
