15% of Indian pilot women, it's an achievement: Aviation Minister
Addressing the annual general meeting of the International Air Transport Association (IATA),
Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu said that 15% of Indian pilots are women. Calling it a "remarkable achievement" compared to global average of 5%, Kinjarapu said, "Where women are honoured, prosperity follows." PM Narendra Modi also took part in the event.
