170 buildings gutted as biggest fire in 5 decades ravages Japan
A massive fire ravaged over 170 buildings and killed one person in Japan's Saganoseki district of Oita city, officials said. The fire started on Tuesday and gutted around 48,900 square metres, forcing 175 residents to evacuate, they added. The cause of fire is under investigation, officials said. This is Japan's largest urban fire in almost 50 years, as per reports.
