1st Made-in-India chip to be produced by CG Semi in Guj: Vaishnaw
The first Made-in-India chip will be produced at CG Semi's Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Testing facility in Gujarat, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said. He added that this pilot line (G1 facility) will produce 0.5 million chips/day and help them get customer approval. This plant is a joint venture between CG Power, Japan's Renesas Electronics Corporation and Thailand's Stars Micro.
