20,000 dangerous sites taken down in global cybercrime crackdown
A crackdown on cybercrime uncovered a massive network of data theft operations, resulting in seizure of 41 servers and arrests of 32 suspects linked to deployment of information-stealing malware, Moneycontrol reported. Over 20,000 malicious IP addresses and domains were taken down. The operation involved coordinated action by law enforcement agencies from 26 countries across Asia-Pacific region.
