24 of 25 Bihar ministers retain seats in Bihar Assembly elections
All but one of the 25 Bihar ministers won their respective seats in 2025 Assembly elections. As many as 15 ministers were from the BJP and all of them emerged victorious. However, Sumit Singh, who had been elected in 2020 as independent candidate and inducted into state cabinet, failed to retain Chakai seat where he fought election on JD(U) ticket.
