3 shot, held over student's sexual assault near Coimbatore airport
Three people were arrested for allegedly kidnapping and sexually assaulting woman college student near airport in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore on Sunday. They attacked a police officer while attempting to flee and were shot in legs before being taken into custody. Notably, student was in car with her male friend when accused forcibly kidnapped her and took her to another location.
