38 convicted in 2018 Bulandshahr violence over cow slaughter
Almost seven years after the December 3, 2018 communal violence in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, a local court convicted 38 people, five of them for murder, said special government counsel Yashpal Singh Raghav. The large-scale violence and arson, which erupted after cow carcasses were reportedly found in Mahav village, led to the death of two people, an inspector and a civilian.
