4,000 refugees cross into Mizoram after clashes in Myanmar
Around 4,000 refugees have crossed into Mizoram after clashes between two anti-junta armed groups in neighbouring Myanmar, Reuters reported quoting an unnamed official. The clashes erupted over control of strategic areas in Myanmar's northwestern Chin State. Mizoram's Home Minister K Sapdanga confirmed the arrivals, but put the number of refugees at 3,000.
