4.5-km-long 'Rudrastra', India's longest freight train, hits tracks
Indian Railways has set a record by operating the country's longest freight train. It operated 4.5-km-long 'Rudrastra' from Ganj Khwaja station in UP to Garhwa Road station in Jharkhand. The train covered a distance of 200 km in five hours. Seven engines were installed to run the freight train, which had 354 wagons.
