4 Naxals killed in 8-hr-long gunfire near Maha-Chhattisgarh border
At least four Naxals, including three women, were killed on Wednesday in an encounter in Maharashtra. The incident occurred near the border of Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district and Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district, the police said. The Naxals allegedly opened fire on a team led by Additional SP (Operations) M Ramesh, leading to an 8-hour-long intermittent firefight. Four rifles were also recovered.
