6 back-to-back earthquakes hit Afghanistan in 12 hours
Afghanistan's Hindukush region was struck by a series of earthquakes in last 24 hours. According to the National Center for Seismology, four back-to-back earthquakes with magnitudes of 4.9, 5.2, 4.6, and 4.5 were experienced near the border with Pakistan. This brings the total number of earthquakes to six within a 24-hour period, following two quakes on Thursday night.
