6 dead after 5.7-magnitude earthquake strikes Bangladesh
A 5.7-magnitude earthquake shook Bangladesh, sending tremors that were strongly felt in Kolkata and surrounding districts. The earthquake struck near the Ghorashal area in Bangladesh at around 10:08 am on Friday, and the epicentre of the quake was 10 km east-southeast of Dhaka. At least six people were killed and several severely injured due to the quake.
