60-yr-old beggar saves ₹1.83 lakh in alms over 6 yrs, donates it to renovate K'taka temple
A 60-year-old beggar, who is originally from Andhra Pradesh, has donated ₹1.83 lakh that she had collected in alms for the renovation of a village temple in Karnataka. Rangamma, who has been residing in the village for the past 35 years, had collected the alms over six years in three gunny bags. She was recently felicitated for her contribution.
