7 leaders quit BJP ally RLM after party chief gives Bihar Minister post to non-MLA son
Seven leaders of BJP's Bihar ally Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) quit the party after its chief Upendra Kushwaha chose his son Deepak Prakash for a ministerial post over the party's four elected MLAs. Prakash is neither an MLA nor an MLC. "[Kushwaha] is seeming desperate to promote his family," said Jitendra Nath, who was RLM's official number two before resigning.
