Singer and actress Irene Cara, best known for hit songs 'Fame' and 'Flashdance...What a Feeling', has died at the age of 63, her publicist confirmed. Cara was nominated for an Oscar for best actress for 'Fame'. She also won an Academy Award, as well as Grammy and Golden Globe awards, for co-writing and performing the title track from 'Flashdance'.
