Air India seeks ₹10,000 cr aid from owners SIA, Tata Sons: Report
Air India has sought financial support of at least ₹10,000 crore ($1.14 billion) from owners Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Tata Sons, Bloomberg reported. The airline plans to use funds to overhaul its systems and develop in-house engineering and maintenance departments. Owners will decide whether to infuse funds through an interest-free loan or via equity, the report said.
