Akasa Air's examiner suspended over lapses in pilot skill test
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) suspended Akasa Air's designated examiner (DE) due to procedural lapses in a pilot skill test. The aviation watchdog has nullified the test and ordered a retest for the trainee pilots. Akasa Air stated that "keeping safety in mind is of utmost priority." The airline added that every employee upholds the highest safety standards.
