Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap praised actor Alia Bhatt for reshaping Bollywood's perception of female actors after marriage and motherhood, saying, "She has broken so many walls" in Bollywood. Kashyap stated that Alia "is living her life the way she wants to", adding, "Why should marriage, relationships, motherhood, or anything affect an actor's career?" He said many found courage due to her.
