Actor-producer Vishnu Manchu spoke about the unfortunate death of a fan during a stampede during the 'Pushpa 2' premiere in 2024. "As President of Movie Artist Association in Hyderabad, I really felt that it was not his mistake...Him being the poster boy for that tragedy, I believe is wrong." The incident took place in Hyderabad's Sandhya Theatre.
