Amazon shares rise despite AWS outage causing partial internet blackout
Shares of Amazon rose as high as $216.48 on Tuesday, marking an almost 1% rise, despite a crash of AWS services causing a partial internet outage worldwide. The about 15-hour-long outage affected thousands of websites and applications globally, with Amazon saying it was a domain name system (DNS) error that caused the outage. Amazon's m-cap now stands at $2.32 trillion.
