Amazon shuts down wholesale distribution unit in India
Amazon is shutting down its wholesale e-commerce website for small neighborhood stores, called Amazon Distribution, in India. This is the third business closure announced by Amazon in India in a week. It previously announced plans to shutter food delivery and edtech services. The decision to shut down these units comes as part of annual operating planning review process, Amazon said.
