Filmmaker Ramesh Sippy recently spoke about the iconic ensemble in 'Sholay' in an interview. While speaking about Amitabh Bachchan's career before filming 'Sholay' he said, "Amit ji's...films hadn't worked. But by the time I started 'Sholay', 'Zanjeer'...was a hit. 'Deewaar' came before us, that was also a hit." He added that after 'Sholay', Amitabh had "become a star again."
